Oops, I almost forgot to post this. Not used to posting on Thursdays anymore, hahahah...

So onto part 2. As you can see, the girls changed a little bit. Ivy ended up having blue eyes, and Hazel's hair got darker. Their mouths changed a little bit too. I'm still getting used to the hand written dialogue as well. I may have changed Richard's mom's name (baby brain, can't remember, nor can I find if it was mentioned anywhere).

*** Don't forget, it's page by page. The gray line is the divider ;)

Alright kids, it's story time! Back in 2006 and 2007 I took a couple of classes over at the ol' community college. In fall 2006, I took a class on fiction writing and the following semester I took one on graphic novels, same professor for both classes. Anyhoo, since I've had the idea for RO3 in my head for years before I did anything about it, I decided to write a short story with Kat, Hazel and Ivy for an assignment for the fiction writing class, which I was then able to use for my final project for the graphic novel class.

Fast forward to when I started getting into the Katerli dating Richard story-arc, I couldn't find the paper comic anywhere, so I had to rely on memory, and with me that's never a good thing :/ Luckily earlier this year I found it hidden away...somewhere, so I was able to match up a bit of the story. But still, there are some inconsistencies.

As you'll see over the next 9 strips, a few things changed from the comic book to the webcomic. As I post each page I'll point out the oopsies and we can all have a nice chuckle at my mistakes. I've also left in all the mistakes and pencil drawings to show how this all started out (plus I'm feeling lazy as hell and didn't want to clean it up much). So let's get started!

Here we have the cover and page 1. Back before I was married, haha... Hand written dialogue, ooh, exciting! I wish I had numbered the pages, so I added in that gray line as a divider (which will be in all of these 9 strips).

Next comic is on Thursday, don't miss out!

Suspect Behavior (#515)

Never plot in the living room when a parent is nearby. Never!

So, next week starts a bit of a throw back to 2006/7, and I'll be posting the first ever time I drew Rule of Three for an audience! There will be a few differences between that comic and what you see today (drawing style, how some of the characters looked then vs now, a few subtle changes here and there). I'll be posting on Mondays and Thursdays until the mini-comic is completed (as it follows the upcoming story arc) and should be completed around mid-December. Hope you enjoy it and see you next Monday!

I am lazy. I fully admit it. At least I have a good excuse :) See ya November 3rd!

Evil Transitions (#513)

Oh yeah, Katerli has a rarely seen pet bunny named Usagi. I figured I'd remind everyone again :)

In a couple of weeks I'm going to be posting the very first comic I ever drew with Katerli, Hazel and Ivy. The story was done for a fiction writing class I took back in 2006, then I used the story for a graphic novel class the following semester. So I'll be sharing that comic as it fits in with the upcoming storyline (we'll see next week what Kat's "favor" is and how it relates to the old comic).

Congrats to Ivy! Woohoo!

Now we all knew that Conchetta was likely to disrupt Ivy's graduation party, but not like THIS! O_o

Getting that ring back is going to take some effort. Stay tuned!

Uh oh, guess we'll be dealing with Richard one more time. Actually, yes, we'll definitely be seeing him again. In a few weeks I'll be posting the original artwork from Rule of Three, when it was a project done for my graphic novel class I took at a community college back in 2007. More on that as we come closer to posting time :)
